Periwinkle (Catharanthus roseus), commonly known as Sadabahar , vinca  in India, is a popular flowering plant known for its glossy green leaves and five-petaled flowers that come in shades of pink, white, purple, and red. This hardy perennial is native to Madagascar but widely grown in tropical and subtropical regions. It blooms year-round and is often found in gardens, parks, and as decorative potted plants.
